These high resolution, premium quality, digital aerial images went through a meticulous process to markedly enhance the original USGS source images.

The careful processing removed artifacts and line skips, enhanced contrast, and tonally balanced the image tiles to provide a virtually seamless appearance between multiple adjacent tiles! (Standard DOQQs often have different tones between multiple tiles creating a patchwork appearance of light and dark tiles).

There is almost complete USA coverage with over 235,000 images available.

Digital Section, Township, Range Grid Map Data

This is a wonderful overlay map layer to snugly integrate with eDOQQ aerial data and other map layers.

Many people use section, township, range map grid data to help them easily, and quickly find specific property locations based on legal descriptions, thus saving time and frustration. It is a cornerstone for any GIS or mapping project.

These high quality datasets were painstakingly derived from USGS topographic maps using highly accurate spatial average digitizing techniques. In addition to the section grid polygons (usually 1 square mile grids), you also get the accompanying attribute tables that include section numbers, township and range numbers, and more!

Aerial and Satellite Image Data

We offer aerial and satellite imagery in many flavors and level of detail from several satellite sources with choices from 1 foot to 30 meter ground resolution. Available in either panchromatic, or multispectral.

The choice of which image product to use depends on the nature and the scale of your project.

Often used as a background map layer in GIS mapping software, imagery is also a faster, frequently more accurate, and lower cost way to map and classify vegetation, land cover, and land use. You can also monitor changes over time by comparing images acquired on different dates.
